AquaBloom International Sports Technology Group (ABSG) is the first platform focusing on international sports innovation in China. It is determined to build an international SportsTech center and ecosystem with global influence, serving the development of sports innovation in China and the world.

Hong Kong Cyberport is an innovative digital community with over 1,900 start-ups and technology companies. It is managed by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, which is wholly owned by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Hong Kong Cyberport is focused on promoting industry development of major technology sectors such as FinTech, Smart Living, Digital Entertainment and Esports, as well as emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, Blockchain and Cybersecurity to propel transformation of Hong Kong into a smart city.
With holistic entrepreneurship programmes and support networks, value-added services, technology infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities and smart workspaces to support the community of digital tech innovators, Cyberport is now Hong Kong’s digital technology flagship and key entrepreneurship incubator, with six unicorns having hailed from the community.
In August 2022, ABSG and Cyberport officially announced in the annual signature summit Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF) that the two sides would carry out multi-level, all-round and in-depth cooperation to jointly build a Global SportsTech Centre, Cluster and Ecosystem. To make positive contributions to the overall development of SportsTech industry, a high-value industrial base would be established to accelerate integration and cooperation of global SportsTech industry.
ABSG and Cyberport share the same vision for promoting SportsTech industry by making full use of the investor network, market channels and opportunities, professional services and project resources of ABSG in the global SportsTech vertical, as well as talent cultivation and entrepreneurship programmes, industry events, etc. at Cyberport, to support SportsTech companies to carry out projects and business development, and form an international industrial cluster and ecosystem.
Among them, Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) and Cyberport Incubation Programme (CIP) are open for applications with every year. The programmes accept 3 intakes in 2023/24 with the most recent application deadline being April 3, 2023.
Cyberport’s suite of entrepreneurship programmes including CCMF and CIP provides up to HK$1.1 million funding and free working spaces, along with comprehensive support from training and mentorship, technology infrastructure, advisory for product and business development to investment opportunities. Cyberport has also set up a HK $400-million investment fund, Cyberport Macro Fund (CMF) to drive co-investments for start-ups to enhance their fundraising capabilities. Furthermore, Cyberport Investors Network (CIN) connects start-ups to more than 150 high-end investment institutions for a full range of financing channels and collaboration opportunities to support their entrepreneurial pursuits with venture capital. Cyberport also provides companies with access to a wide range of official funding support schemes.

ABSG has created a global SportsTech cooperation network that includes more than 50 sports and innovation organizations/platforms from over 20 countries. It will work with its partners to provide high-value professional service systems in the vertical field of global SportsTech for the settled companies, including but not limited to the International SportsTech Summit, monthly investment and business matching, SportsTech challenges and accelerators.
